He obtained his Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Mindanao State University &#8211; Iligan Institute of Technology in 2017. Afterwards, he worked as a Production Supervisor in Philippine Batteries Incorporated for three years. In 2021, he received an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree (EMJMD) scholarship to study Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion (MESC+) in Politechnika Warszawska, Universit\u00e9 Toulouse III &#8211; Paul Sabatier, and Universidad del Pa\u00eds Vasco. During this period, he carried out a 3-month internship at CIC-EnergiGUNE, Spain for the synthesis and characterization of Cu-doped Li and Mn-rich oxide cathode materials via co-precipitation. For his master thesis at Solvay Paris, he investigated the application of solid-state electrolytes for the electrochemical extraction of lithium from brine controlled stoichiometry and morphology via atomic layer deposition (ALD). The candidate will have to tailor the performance and selectivity of the catalysts when employed in CO<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">2<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">RR by changing the growth conditions and the secondary metal species by taking advantage of the conformal ALD growth on different nanostructures substrates.<\/span><\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; color: #333333;\"><strong>Working context:<\/strong> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">DC#1 will be hosted at the <\/span><a style=\"color: #333333;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.msca-dn-ecomates.eu\/polito\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Politecnico of Torino<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Italy) and will be enrolled in the PhD school of the same institute, supervised by Prof. Stefano Bianco.
